First class of the day: Taboo. Today we talked about the ending of American Psycho and I admit that I did not get to read the whole book because I have been so bogged down, but I plan to read Lolita and American Psycho again. :) It seems like a good start for my summer reading list!
After my first class, I am going to get some work done! For me walking on campus includes me looking at my feet, iPod, and not making eye contact with anyone.
This is where I work! <3 I love working at the CfRP because of the amazing people I work with, they are the shiznit. I mean who else can go to their supervisors computer and open Notepad and write "CUNT DESTROYER" in Arial Bold, and have them respond with hysteric laughing? That is right...NO ONE! And that is why I love it here!
This is just a pretty picture I took on the way to register with the DKMS for bone marrow. I have been eying this tree for the last couple of days because I really like how the tree and light post look. :) Just overall prettiness!
Gee! About 30 minutes after I got into work Alice and I went to register as donors with the DKMS for bone marrow! :D The common misconception with donating bone marrow is that it is one of the most painful things ever, but 70% of the donations are taken from the bloodstream and only 30% are taken from the lumbar and the pain that comes with that is equal to the pain someone would have for a week if they fell on their butt hard. :) But I would rather hurt for a week than have someone die.
These are the nifty posters that were hanging in the HUB. Alice and I had to stop and take pictures of them because the Alice in Wonderland was so cool and we just got swabbed! We are probably going to go see Alice in Wonderland Friday on the Alumni Green and it is going to be awesome! Alice has yet to see the new Alice in Wonderland so I had to tell her about it and she was totally down for going.
Alice wanted a picture of this little piece of straw/grass because it was placed so perfectly on the brickwork even though it was really windy out.
Spanish Novel class.....the bane of my existence. :| Totally not a fun class.
Kyle and I came home to watch some Life and Times of Tim because it is an amazingly funny show! :D I love it.
My sweet boyfriend laying under my legs while watching a TLC special Feral Children and it was really interesting. I must say that TLC has some pretty amazing specials that I find really interesting. The original reason that I turned to TLC today was because I saw that there was a special on called Pregnant 70 Year Old and I thought that it would be really interesting, but alas it was Feral Children which was equally interesting. :)
The view of the pretty night sky from my front porch. Tonight was a nice night to just sit on the porch in a sweatshirt just listening to the sounds and feeling the night air. :)
My car (Emily) had her brake pads changed and this is what the old ones looked like next to the new ones...THEY WERE BARE METAL!! Poor Emily! :( But she is all better now!
I love looking at these, and I super love reading what you write about them. And dear Emily! I'm so glad she got new shoes!!!

I looked so beautiful with that beard. Love you sweetie.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful set — you captured so much, so well!
ReplyDelete... I fell on my butt hard. It sucks, but I agree that I'd rather deal with it than have someone die.
