Stark Adventure!

So, this weekend was pretty amazing. :D Kyle, Dan, Sonya, Spencer, Rose, and I went up to my grandparent's cabin in Stark, NH for the weekend. On our way up there we go a couple of geocaches in the Franconia Notch area, and I took tons of pictures! Here are some of what I took in the Notch...

This is probably my favorite picture of the boys!

We got a cache at The Basin!

Kyle found a cache at Boise Rock

Just a pretty picture of Profile Pond and the mountains around where the Old Man was.

And here is the dead Old Man!

After we got some caches we all wanted to go up to the cabin so that we could make lunch because we were getting hungry. Probably one of my favorite parts of doing the drive with Spence and Rose in my car and Kyle, Dan, and Sonya in Kyle's car is that we were using walkie talkies to communicate between vehicles and it was pretty amazing. :) It was really like we were all in the same car...but we weren't! It was some crazy shit! We left New Hampton that morning at around 1oam and then got to the cabin around 1:30pm or so and we made hot dogs and cheeseburgers for lunch! Well, there were some cheeseburgers and hot dogs that didn't quite make it because they fell...whoops!

This is the view from the dock at the cabin.

A good portion of our time here was spent with our pants/shorts high above our waists and belly buttons...I would say that about 60% of the time one of us was doing it! :P

This is a pretty amazing view from the dock as well. Also, Kyle and Dan are in the background in the boat having a romantic date! :P

Every night we were there we all played a game of Truth or Dare...really anytime that we all go camping there is always a game of Truth or Dare played, and it always turns into "I truth you to lick by butthole." or "Would you rather amputate both of your legs or gnaw one of your feet off?" :) I love playing Truth or Dare...In this picture I dared Kyle to lick the slimey side of a lily pad...it was nasty.

We went for a walk the second day we were there and saw Mr. Sloog! :D

Also on the second day we went to Dan's mom's house and saw some cows (Because his mom's boyfriend lives on a cow farm of around 250 cows and Rose loves cows!) It was pretty fun seeing the cows, even though I hated seeing all the barn cats because they were sick and some had broken limbs and there were a lot of them...I understand that since there are so many cats on the farm that not all of them can get taken to a vet but it still makes me sad to see them sick and unhealthy...but here is a picture of Rose feeding a calf and a cat in a dusty window.

Here is Rose standing very proudly next to the teenage cows (Can you see their angst?)

This is probably my favorite picture of Rose and the cows because she is so happy and you can see it on her face and the cow has such a stupid look on it's face!

I just liked this cow because it had a heart on it's head.. <3

This weekend was so much fun even though Olivia (my GPS) got us lost on a 10 mile dirt road and I got a flat and had to get it repaired at the VIP in Berlin (Which cost me fucking $30!) and there was fighting between Kyle and I and also Spencer and Rose. :) I am glad that we all got to go and I hope that we will be going up there soon because I love it so much up there! :D I want to get more pictures of Stark next time though and I would also like to get more caching in!! :)

And I will leave with with Dan's crotch and Spencer's ass! :P

My Wednesday

Let me start by saying today has been a really good day. : ) There was work, swimming, ice cream, Dan, AND Sonya! I started the day out by going to work and working in the hot-as-balls office. I really nearly died from sweating so much, and I am not usually one that sweats. It was funny because Alice sent a text to our boss Thad to ask “what the proper protocol is if a student worker literally turned into a puddle of sweat.” We did not get a response.. . : | It was still pretty funny. After I got out of work I told Kyle that we were going swimming with Dan and Sonya, because we did yesterday and it was amazing!

I sent three postcards out today, hoping that I will actually get one in return!! Grrrr…Kyle has gotten four and I have gotten none. It makes me kind of depressed because I have sent out just as many as he has, but he has gotten more and now I am even sending out two more! These rounds of postcards are going to Germany and Florida. I am pretty stoked about the one going to Germany because it is a pretty cool area.

Today at the beach was a lot cooler than it was yesterday but it was still enjoyable. : ) We stayed in the water for about an hour and it was amazing. Kyle, Dan, and I did a handstand competition under water. Kyle was pretty decent at doing handstands, Dan was mediocre at best, and I was the best out of all of us. : ) Sonya knew she was terrible so she opted out of the competition which is very respectable. I don’t know about anyone else, but I love Sonya!! She is pretty much the raddest person in the world!

Notice Sonya lauging! :)

So, after swimming we went to go get ice cream at The Mill, but it was closed. I know! How dare they have the nerve to not be open when we wanted to go there? In lieu of going to The Mill Dan, Sonya, Kyle, and I went to Meredith to see if the Town Docks was open…it wasn’t, but there was one last option for us and it was Flurries. FLURRIES WAS OPEN! :D This was good because if they were not open then there would have been some ass kickin’. Kyle got soft serve black raspberry, Dan got caramel crazy, Sonya got cookie dough (I think,) and I got caramel crazy. I was not too crazy over the “crazy caramel” because it was not as caramely as I wanted it to be. : ( That it why I wanted to go to The Mill because they always have lots of caramel! Kyle got ice cream all over his face and it was very cute. <3

Ky making a brutal pose with his ice cream covered face.

Kyle being stoop with his dirty face.

Sonya showing her ice cream proudly!! She was so happy!

After the ice cream escapade we went to my grandmother’s in Meredith to pick up the kayaks for Stark. It was definitely an experience tying down the kayaks because Dan and I were the ones that were confident that the kayaks would stay down and Kyle was the one that thought they were going to fall everywhere, and Sonya was pretty neutral. : ) Dan and I tied the kayaks down pretty well I must say and then we went on our merry little way home. The whole way home Kyle and I were saying that the kayaks were moving and sliding everywhere to Dan and Dan would just reassure us that everything was going to be fine and that they were on there really well, but that did not stop Kyle and I from worrying. : )

I hope everyone enjoyed their Wednesday because I thoroughly enjoyed mine!

Just a boring Saturday

Today was such a good day to just lie around and do nothing. Kyle and I spent the night at Mike’s last night with our friends C.J. and Lauren from Tewksbury, MA. It was a good night overall, they drank and Kyle and I just chilled out. : ) Lauren and I were a pretty unstoppable ‘ruit team! It was really weird because we were the worst players when we were on opposite teams, but when we were together we were pretty amazing. One game she would carry the team and then the next game I would carry the team, it was fun. : ) They also went outside to play some catch at like 1am while they were drunk so I went to Mike’s room and went to sleep because I was feeling sick…it was hot as balls in Mike’s apartment and it just made my whole body feel all yucky. : (

So, this morning I woke up at 8am while everyone else was still sleeping…even Kyle, which was weird to me because he normally is always awake earlier than I. But once I saw that everyone was sleeping I tried to go back to sleep but it did not last long...because I woke back up at 8:30am and was pretty much awake after that. When everyone was awake C.J. and Lauren left to go back home and Kyle, Mike and I went to The Windmill to get some breakfast. Breakfast was amazing especially because the cook messed up and gave me three blueberry pancakes instead of one, the waitress said “The cook messed up, so you can have these free of charge.” And that statement made Kyle and me very happy! So, I had two pancakes and an egg and Kyle had four pieces of toast and a pancake. After breakfast we went to a NHTI yard sale which sucked so much because it was the quintessential shitty yard sale, the type with only stuffed animals and broken toys. So, that was a bust but Kyle and I plan to go to some yard sales tomorrow and maybe find some good shit. I love yard saling! It is another thing that makes me even more like an old woman (Old woman things I like: Werther’s caramels, knitting, reading, sewing, scrapbooking, sleeping, cats, rummage sales, and yard sales.  God, I am going to make an amazing old woman!)

I have already had to start milking the goats yesterday because Thad (my boss) bought two of the babies that we had, so that means that I have to milk their mommies. It sucks so badly, and anyone who has not milked an animal does not know how much it hurts because it kills my hands, forearms, and wrists. When I was milking five goats by hand every day my forearms were as solid as a baseball player’s. But, luckily I only have to milk one of them and I am giving that milk to my supervisor (Alice) because she loves goat milk, and we would just dump it out. The other goat that I have to milk has a really small udder so I get  baby goat out and have the baby nurse off of her so I don’t have to KILL my hands. Huzzah!  Kyle had the audacity to groan when I said we had to go out and milk…the fucker just had to hold a grain bucket while I am getting the goats out and milking them!  The goats are such motherfuckers, they will systematically test the fence to find weak spots and I always think of them as the velociraptors from Jurassic Park and then I always follow that up with the amazing quote “Clever girl” : ) That movie definitely cracks my top 10 favorite movies of all time. :D

Well, I knew this was a pretty lame post, but I just felt like making one…so mehhh!!

P.S. Thank you Sonya for hipping me to weheartit! :D

May 12 of 12

First class of the day: Taboo. Today we talked about the ending of American Psycho and I admit that I did not get to read the whole book because I have been so bogged down, but I plan to read Lolita and  American Psycho again. :) It seems like a good start for my summer reading list!

After my first class, I am going to get some work done! For me walking on campus includes me looking at my feet, iPod, and not making eye contact with anyone.

This is where I work! <3 I love working at the CfRP because of the amazing people I work with, they are the shiznit. I mean who else can go to their supervisors computer and open Notepad and write "CUNT DESTROYER" in Arial Bold, and have them respond with hysteric laughing? That is right...NO ONE! And that is why I love it here!

This is just a pretty picture I took on the way to register with the DKMS for bone marrow. I have been eying this tree for the last couple of days because I really like how the tree and light post look. :) Just overall prettiness!

Gee! About 30 minutes after I got into work Alice and I went to register as donors with the DKMS for bone marrow! :D The common misconception with donating bone marrow is that it is one of the most painful things ever, but 70% of the donations are taken from the bloodstream and only 30% are taken from the lumbar and the pain that comes with that is equal to the pain someone would have for a week if they fell on their butt hard. :) But I would rather hurt for a week than have someone die.

These are the nifty posters that were hanging in the HUB. Alice and I had to stop and take pictures of them because the Alice in Wonderland was so cool and we just got swabbed! We are probably going to go see Alice in Wonderland Friday on the Alumni Green and it is going to be awesome! Alice has yet to see the new Alice in Wonderland so I had to tell her about it and she was totally down for going.

Alice wanted a picture of this little piece of straw/grass because it was placed so perfectly on the brickwork even though it was really windy out.

Spanish Novel class.....the bane of my existence. :| Totally not a fun class.

Kyle and I came home to watch some Life and Times of Tim because it is an amazingly funny show! :D I love it.

My sweet boyfriend laying under my legs while watching a TLC special Feral Children and it was really interesting. I must say that TLC has some pretty amazing specials that I find really interesting. The original reason that I turned to TLC today was because I saw that there was a special on called Pregnant 70 Year Old and I thought that it would be really interesting, but alas it was Feral Children which was equally interesting. :)

The view of the pretty night sky from my front porch. Tonight was a nice night to just sit on the porch in a sweatshirt just listening to the sounds and feeling the night air. :)

My car (Emily) had her brake pads changed and this is what the old ones looked like next to the new ones...THEY WERE BARE METAL!! Poor Emily! :( But she is all better now!

Camping

Kyle and I went camping for the first time this year, and it was awesome! I really cannot wait to camp more because I love sleeping outside and just being with friends. We camped at my friend Craig’s house for his birthday. But, that morning I woke up next to my friend Mike and he reeked of alcohol! I said "Mike, you smell of drunk sweat" and he said "It happens" :) The weird thing is, I was not surprised or upset in anyway that I woke up next to Mike, because he and I spoon all the time when he is drunk; he is a cuddler! :P It is also nice because Kyle doesn't mind because Mike is Kyle's cousin and he knows that nothing will ever happen because it is just cuddling! Oh, the reason why Kyle was not next to me was he had to leave at like 5:45am because he had to be at work by 6am. :( So, after Kyle left Mike came in and kept me company!

Now, I have a massive tent and it can sleep about 12 people comfortably on four full air mattresses, but we can probably manage to fit 20 or so people uncomfortably without the air mattresses. So, needless to say it is a mansion and it has two rooms! : ) If one couple wants to get it on then all they have to do is zipper the center door down and BOOM instant privacy. : ) But, as you can tell, we do not always need a tent that big so I got Kyle a nice four person tent for our anniversary. Now just he and I can go camping without having to carry the monster of a tent up a mountain; and it only weighs 5.6 lbs, which is significantly less than what the one I have now weighs.

I am very excited for our anniversary because it will be one full year that he and I have been dating; even though we have been best friends for three years and I have hated him for a good portion of that time! :D He is a troll and a half and that is why I hate him and to him everything needs to either be a pun or have an annoying face that goes with the pun. Ugh! He was very excited yesterday thought because one of my goats had twins and one was white and the other was brown and he loves looking at the white babies, they are his favorite (No racism intended.)

This image captures the essence of Kyle to a tee!

I got my tattoo touched up yesterday and it killed! I knew that getting a touch up will hurt more than the actual tattoo did, but boy was I on a different scale of pain! I have four tattoos and three of them are on bone (the one I got touched up was on a fatty area) I am use to the pain of tattoos, so when I say this one killed, it KILLED! I almost passed out  because smart me didn’t have anything to eat before getting it done, so I broke out into a cold sweat, felt like I was going to puke, and almost passed out; I even needed Kyle to get me a glass of water. But, hopefully I didn’t show it too much because I did not want to be the girl that passes out while getting a tattoo nor has the artist stop because they are just bitches!

This is it when I first got it. I needed it touched up because the artist is very light handed so some lines were not as dark as others and that needed to be fixed and then a scab took some purple from the center of the "X" and now everything is uniform and pretty! :D I love how this picture makes my skin look 3-D!

Well, that is enough of my babbling for today! Hasta luego!
