England bound in three months!

I have been stressing out lately because I realized that I am going to England in three months!! That is a way shorter time that I originally thought! I am going to be gone from the beginning of January to the middle of June, six months of not being around my family and friends. I am confident that I will make new friends and have a good time there, but it is going to be hard leaving. I also know that this is the time in my life when I need to travel. :) I really want people to come visit me, but I can understand if they can't. I would really like to meet the penpal I have in Spain, but I am not sure if she would be creeped out meeting me, I don't think she would be, but ya never know.

I am going to be attending Royal Holloway in Surrey, England. It is 25 minutes by train away from London. I so intend on finding the London gay scene, and the underground trip-hop scene. :) I really feel as though I am going to fit in there and have a lot of fun! Here are some pictures of where I am staying!

Doesn't it look like Hogwarts?! I am very excited!! :D

Senior Picturessss!!

Today I went out and took Kyle's brother, Sean, to get his senior pictures taken. It was a really nice fall day and I loved it so much! We went on a bike trail, to the beach, and to a local area where the kid smoke, called the depot. I had a good time with Sean, and I really like hanging out with him alone because he is not as much of a tool bag as he can be around people. :) I never realize how fucking tall he is though, he put on one of Kyle's shirts (and Kyle is 6') and it was like he was putting on a child's shirt; I think he may be like 6' 3'' or something like that. I was standing next to him in the bathroom and he was towering over me and that was when I realized how tall he really is. It was mind blowing because I am around tall people all the time and never really take it in. But here are some of the pictures that I like the best.

Yeah, he is wearing one of Kyle;s Dunkin' Donuts shirts because Kyle is not allowed to wear it at DD's anymore because it is out of date, so Sean wanted to wear it for senior pictures. :P

The day was very pretty and it was a nice crisp, windy day. I loved it. I really love the feeling of fall. I love the crisp air and being able to wear a sweatshirt and be all cozy. :) The scenery is super beautiful too, I wish I could live in fall all year round. :) It makes me feel a lot better about myself and it makes me feel more healthy.

Soda Tab Earrings

I am really excited about my earrings selling because I have found a shop that wants to carry my earrings! :) It makes me super happy because I can only sell so many things on Etsy, but I will get more sales if they are in an actual store where people can touch them and see them. The store that wants to carry my earrings is Veggie Art Girl in Holderness. :) It is a store that only sells handmade things from local crafters. I have been making a lot of jewelry lately so I will have enough for my Etsy and the store. :) I uploaded like 9 new things on my Etsy yesterday! Here are some pictures of my newest creations...

September's 12 of 12

1. I woke up around 10:30am or so because I had such a shitty nights sleep. :( It is really hard for me to sleep in a bed that is not mine because mine is so soft and comfy and I love it. Now, I slept on the bigger bed because Kyle has a twin bed and frankly, that is too small for two people. I have a full bed and even then I am too close to him. I am a ver independent sleeper and I don't like to snuggle or anything when I am sleeping. So, when I sleep over Kyle's apartment I have him sleep on a futon chair that I bought at a yard sale for $5...hahaha. It is kind of a good thing that he doesn't care because if he did, then he would be screwed!!

2. I woke up and looked outside to see that it was raining, so I decided to take some pictures of the railing outside of the boys apartment. I love chipped paint. :)

3. I just think this picture is so darling. :)

4. I put this on the front of the boys apartment door because we are straight edge and don't want people smoking in or around the apartment. The smell of smoke really gives me a headache. :(

5. Yeah, they have bowls of condoms everywhere in the apartment. They are decorations!

6. Kyle always says that his apartment is very "straight" because there is no meat, soy milk, fruit and veggies up the wazoo, juices, and water. Kyle loves Granny Smith apples and I love oranges. :)

7. I am pretty sure that Jesse was playing Call of Duty: Bad Company 2 while Spencer was eating Goldfish...oddly enough with his pants on.

8. I decided to cook the boys (Kyle and Jesse) some stir fry for dinner because Kyle wanted to learn how to make something...and he said that a leek needed to be included because it looks very brutal... :|

9. This is the vegetable stir fry in the pan. :) I had green peppers, orange peppers, summer squash, zucchini, leek, broccoli, and mushrooms in this and I was cooking the chicken in a separate pan. :) The boys said that it was amazing and Kyle gave it a 9 out of 10! And he normally never likes my cooking that much! He normally gives me a 7 or 8 because I cook things that have meat in it and he doesn't really like meat all that much.

10. This is what I have to deal with...I blurred out the disgusting neck of his penis because I wanted to spare the 11 or so readers that I have... Yeah, sadly this is not a rare occurrence in the Costigan apartment...

11. Yeah, these are always laying around the apartment opened on any given page... It is sad, but so true.

This is Shikari (Kyle's hamster) and I had to say goodnight to her before I went home! She is adorable, but she smells like ass because she lays in her own filth... I try to give her baths, but Kyle gets mad at me because he thinks that I am hurting her and I am not...

Well, that was my 12 of 12 for September! :D I got to use my new camera and it was awesome!! I hope you enjoyed your 12th!

Checking in!

Hello! I have not been blogging much lately because I have been working and I have went back to class and it has been really crazy! I have not had much time for anything...my life is being over taken by school work! :( I have already done two presentations in two weeks!! I am not sure how much of a life I am going to have this semester! :P

Tuesday night I went to the Clock meeting (PSU newspaper) and it was awesome!! The people there were so nice, and I got to talk to the editor of Arts and Entertainment and he was pretty beast. :) They all were really nice, and I knew they were going to be but I guess that I thought they were going to have more of a chip on their shoulder than they did. I have a feeling like I am going to really like working with the Clock. :) I cannot wait for my first article to get published, I wrote one about Straight Edge and sent it to the editor of the Features section, and she is editting it and then will get back to me. :) I am very happy about this. Haha. Well, here is a picture that I took today! :D

Yard Sale and BBQ!

Saturday and Sunday my grandparents were having a yard sale so I went over to help them out and just hang out with them. :) It was pretty fun the first day because a lot of people were stopping by and buying things because the weather was really nice but the second day not a lot of people stopped by. :( I guess it was too windy and chilly for everyone. Good news: I sold a pair of my soda tab earrings and a skein of yard!! A total of $6 earned. :P OH! I also sold a pair of Red Bull earrings on my Etsy! Yay!! I am really picking up on business, I am getting a lot of custom requests, so that has me strung out a bit.

Yesterday I also went to the Costigan Family BBQ and it was a bunch of fun! There was no awkward moments between Kyle's mom and I mainly because I kept my distance. I spent a lot of time with the children there, and I really liked it! It made me want to have children even more and that did not please Kyle because he doesn't want children. :( Boo! But I did have a lot of fun!! Here are some pictures from the yard sale and BBQ!

NEWS!

Okay, today I got a Facebook message from the editor of The Clock (Plymouth State's newspaper) asking if I would like to write for them! It was really cool because I did not contact them at all, they contacted me! I am really excited to go to my first meeting on Tuesday at 8:30pm. :) I am going to get Kyle to come too because he is really good at writing sports articles, and I figured that maybe he could do that. So, someday my name might be in print. :P When I told my "boss", Alice, she said that I should totally do it and she would cause physical pain unto me if I did not. I love my co-workers!

I also was walking around PSU, just taking pictures with my new camera (it rocks so hard!) and I took some pictures of this building on campus called Rounds Hall and showed them to my bosses and they totally said that they were amazing pictures and I should send them to the President's office and Public Relations. :) They said that if I was feeling shy or thought it would be better if they sent the pictures in, they would do so, because I have a pretty amazing boss, Thad, he pretty much runs PSU (not really, but he is a very important figure at Plymouth.) So, I am going to have them send the pictures in for me and hopefully they will be published somewhere and I will get more of my pictures published! I already have one published at Plymouth, it is a picture of a stone wall and that is used for the Center for Rural Partnerships banner. :) Oh, here is the pretty picture of Rounds that will be going to the President's office (and some other pictures that I took with the new camera)

This is the picture that will hopefully get published with a photo credit *keyword - hopefully*

Mary Lyon is so pretty, there really is no way to get a bad picture of it.

Kyle doesn't like his hair in this picture, but I love this picture of him.

This would make a good banner, or just a pretty picture!

I really like how this one came out. :P

I like this picture because it shows that there was a lot of movement going on and I really like the neck of the guitar!

Which picture do you like the best!?
