The babies!!

We are getting babies all the time now! My family has goats and they have been giving birth all this week and so far we have four baby goats! They are so adorable and they run all around and make cute little noises and they are just all around adorable! Here are the pictures of them that I have taken the day they have been born. I love hearing my dad yell to me saying “New babies!” and then I come running down the stairs like Christmas morning. : )

Tuesday Mike, Kyle and I went geocaching in Winthrop, MA and we got two geocaches that nearly killed us. The first one was by a water tower right near the beach and it was a difficulty 5/5 and had a terrain of 5/5, so needless to say it was going to be a challenge for us! We were so pumped to start looking for this one because it would be everyone’s first 5/5 and we really wanted to get it. After five minutes of looking Mike found the cache; it was in a rusted coffee can in between some rocks. That one was pretty easy, but the next one proved to be a bit more challenging.
This is Mike looking over the ocean before searching for the second cache in Winthrop.

The second and final one we got was a lot harder and rated a lot lower (I think it was a difficulty 3/5 with a terrain of 3/5) So, the day that we went it was raining and all the rocks on the beach were really slippery, and the tide was coming in when we were there. I swear I almost fell on my ass five times, but I only actually fell once. Finally as soon as I was about to give up we got to ground zero and Kyle found the cache. After we looked through its contents we signed the log and then climbed the steepest hill in the world. That cache was the hardest cache we have ever attempted and it sucked so much dick but it did feel good that we got it. I have a really good feeling that we will be doing a lot more caching during the summer because Mike is hardcore into it now and he wants to go all the time and that makes me really happy! :D For anyone who does not know what geocaching is, then visit the website (It is pretty much a GPS treasure hunt) www.geocaching.com
This is the cache that proved harder than it seemed. It was a pretty neat find!

Earth Day!

So, tomorrow is Earth Day for anyone who doesn’t already know about it! There is going to be a super fun celebration called “Earth Jam 2010” for it on Saturday in Plymouth which will involve: tie dying, solar powered live music, local food buffet, and eco friendly vendors! :D I so plan on going because it should be a really fun time and it is for a good cause. Ever since I have started working at the Center for Rural Partnerships (people on the streets call it the CfRP) I have become more environmentally conscious and I am kind of turning into a hippy! Tomorrow, in celebration for Earth Day, the Center for Rural Partnerships (among a lot of other environmental groups) will be in front of the HUB. The Center is going to be giving out tiny potted plants to anyone who wants to grow herbs, vegetables or flowers. It should be a fun time, especially because I don’t get out much to do anything and this will be a good opportunity for me to not be as much of a hermit. Craig is going to stop by the booth and visit me, which should be exciting! I absolutely adore Craig, he is funny, nice and cute (see Craig, you are attractive) I just love him! <3

Here is Craig, he doesn't think that he is attractive but I think that he is and that is all that matter! (Please answer this question for me...is Craig attractive?)

In my ST: Taboo class we are reading Lolita and it is turning out to be an interesting book about pedophilia and rape, but it is done in a tasteful manner. It is about a 40 year-old man who has a thing for young, prepubescent girls…but they cannot be just any young girls, they have to be “nymphets” (A type of young girl who knows she is being seductive and turning men on.) The interesting thing about the book is the reader starts to begin to feel that it is Lolita that is seducing the older man and he was just a pawn in her game. This has to be one of the only books that makes the rapist seem like the victim.Below is a very controversial cover to the novel...over sexualizing a 12 year-old girl much?!

ACCEPTED!

Yay! Kyle has been officially accepted to Plymouth State! He has been worrying and stressing about it ever since he turned in his application and Wednesday he got accepted. It makes me happy because he will be commuting to Plymouth with me and be going to class with me, it is just going to be so awesome! We are going to get an apartment with Craig, Mike and Spencer in Bristol, it is going to be more than legit! I cannot wait until the summer and fall. Then in the spring I am going to be in England! Oh, my friend Sonya is going to be going to England in the spring too! But we are going to go to two different colleges. :( But still near London!

So, we took Kyle's cousin Geocaching for the first time ever Wednesday and it was awesome!! He loved it so much and he wants to make Geocaching tee shirts (tie dyed) and they are going to be epic! This weekend my parents are in Pennsylvania and I am watching the house so I am having like 3 friends over, nothing like a rager or anything...just something small. :) We are currently playing some Wii Fit and watching Craig Hula Hoop and it is pretty entertaining. This weekend is going to be pretty awesome! Tomorrow we are having Craig, Mike, Spencer, Kyle and J-Bic over tomorrow night and we are going to watch shitty zombie movies (Zombie Strippers, Dead Sheep and Dead Snow) and it is going to be awesome! :D Now that I can watch movies streaming instantly on my Wii for free, I am going to be watching a lot more movies on the TV! :) Well, they are yelling at me to get off the computer and be a member of the family! :) It is going to be a good weekend, even though the weather is shitty outside..seriously? Snow in April? Fuck that shit!

Here is a video for you to enjoy! The second episode of Salad Fingers.

Geocaching anyone?

Kyle and I went to go caching today and we found five out of five! :D It was pretty awesome and we had a good time doing it. I think that we found them all within 10 minutes and we even got help from some nice "muggles" (people who do not know what Geocaching is) Oh, I don't think I have said anything about what Geocaching is or how I got into it.
"Geocaching is an outdoor activity in which the participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver or other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers (called "geocaches" or "caches") anywhere in the world. A typical cache is a small waterproof container (usually a tupperware or ammo box) containing a logbook. Larger containers can also contain items for trading, usually toys or trinkets of little value. Geocaching is most often described as a "game of high-tech hide and seek", sharing many aspects with orienteering, treasure-hunting, and waymarking." Wikipedia
So that is Geocaching in a nutshell! It is really fun and exciting to look for caches and we (Kyle, Spencer and I) have 106 caches found and 12 hidden and the leaders in New Hampshire have something like 6,000 caches found. Ridiculous, amirght?

Kyle and I also signed up for PostCrossing, which is a way to send postcards to people from all over the world and then you get one back from someone else! It is wicked cool and I heard about it by reading my friend's blog (Fishnets & Hip Checks) and it sounded really interesting because I have always been curious and interested in having a penpal that sends physical letters rather than e-mails and this seems like a good way to get to have that! I have sent out two (one to China and one to Lithuania) and I am really hoping that the girl from Lithuania actually talks to me and responds to me because I am really interested in their culture because I love Russia and Poland! Yay!

My first 12 of 12!

Yay! Finally the 12th! I have been waiting for a whole month for the 12th to kick off my first 12 of 12! :D

I had to go to my first class today and I love watching all the students walking like lemmings to their next classes...just walking along like zombies.
Yay! Filling in bubble sheets! We had to answer what emotion someone was using by just looking at their eyes. The professor of my Mind, Brain and Evolution class will eventually compile the data and see if females got more right than males...some interesting stuff!
Waiting in the HUB after my THRILLING Mind, Brain and Evolution class! On our way to go to the Student Employee of the Year Reception with Alice and Angie! :D
I did not win the Student Employee of the Year award because the people who won were seniors...rather suspicious. But, I will always know that in the Center for Rural Partnership's eyes, I will be their Student Employee of the Year! :D
Eek! My office is in there! :D I love working in Russell House even though it is hot as balls in there..all the time!
This is my beautiful desk! :D Picture of Stella, flower pens, Bath and Body Works lotion, hedgehog, Frida Kahlo calendar, mac'n'cheese and all! I think that my desk pretty well represents me! :)
Kyle and the Dixer Dog. I love coming home to this, mainly because I love Kyle and I love the Dixie Dog. :)

My little man in his new home! He is such a little cutie pie when he is eating hay and jumping all around in his new house! He already seems happier because he has lots of room to stretch his little bunny legs!
Kyle and I went to do some Geocaching at around 6:30p (Yes, I pulled Kyle away from the game.) But the other day when I was placing the other cache on Coolidge Woods Road we came across this great little cemetery and I thought that it would be a perfect place for a cache! :D I now have seven parts to my cemetery cache series!
Came home to my little brother and my daddy playing some good ole toss in the yard. :)
Look at these beggars! All of them will be having babies in a couple of weeks and then we will have little babies running around the farm!
Frog eggs! When I see frog eggs, I know summer is almost near. If anyone has ever touched these eggs, then they know how fun they are to hold and touch because they are slimey and gooey and all sorts of weird.

Well, that finishes it for my first 12 of 12 and I hope it was not too terrible to read because normally I have pretty lame days but today was actually pretty awesome! I got to take pictures and capture my lame day! Yeah!

I Am Here To Inquire About Your Spooons.

Today has been a pretty amazing day! I went to Tilton and shopped for a bit with my family. I love spending time with my family and shopping with them because I rarely get to spend time with them sans Kyle. I love my family and anytime I get to spend with them is really fun...even thought they are douchers. :)

I went and put my bunny into the chicken pen outside (the chickens are no longer living in their coop) and he is having fun in there. I do miss having him in my room. I really liked looking up to the cage and having him looking down. :( But I am glad he has more room to scamper and play.

This is my little boy! (Bomber or Da Bunz)

This is my two boys! (Kyle and Da Bunz!)

Kyle and I went to place a few caches today as well! We placed one in the New Hampton Cemetery, it was placed behind a rock in a stump. I really like putting some caches in cemeteries because I think that they are so beautiful and interesting. I would love to do some grave rubbings again, I love doing that kind of shit. The second cache we placed was on Coolidge Woods Road in New Hampton. We placed it by the kayak loading and unloading dock because we tube there all the time during the summer and we love that area because there is a huge rock where we can lay and watch the kayakers or the other people tubing. :)

Well, I have nothing really more to write about...again I am trying to keep up with this blogging thing so I will eventually be more entertaining! :D I will leave you with the first Salad Fingers though!!

For mee!

FOAR MEEE!

This Friday and Saturday were pretty amazing! On my way back to my car I got to take some amazing pictures of daffodils with water on their petals. I love photography, if I could make any money off of it I so would. It is really one of my passions. But, taking pictures of flowers while walking to my car AND getting starred at by students walking by was just a bonus! I also got to see one of my favorite people (Mike) when we went to Concord and then we saw Supplication at Rocko's (which was AWESOME! I love them!) We ate some dinner at Applebee's in Concord, which was amazing! (Even though the Applebee's in Tilton had Sam Horn doing a meet and greet. That really pissed Kyle off because he would have loved to meet Sam Horn!and then came back to Mike's apartment to finish off the night playing some MW2 and just being on the internets. :)

One of my photos from Plymouth

A photo I took Scott (bassist) of Supplication

Saturday started pretty awesome! I woke up to the Geico commercial ringtone (Ring-a-ding-ding-dong) It was amazing! Then I did some not-so interesting things and then went to Winthrop with Mike and Kyle to see Mike's Nana! She was so nice, she was the quintessential Nana. It made me miss my Grammy, I actually was going to see her if we got back in time (we didn't) but we ate at Nick's (An amazing restaurant in Winthrop) then we went on the beach and tossed around the old pig skin and just chilled for a bit. It was just really nice to get out and visit Kyle and Mike's hometown and go some place where I have never been before. I really like Winthrop and Mass. but I would never want to live there because I like New Hampshire too much. OHEMGEE! We were going to see the Bruins game today, but being poor college students it didn't really happen like that, but we were listening to the game on the radio and the Bruins scored three times in 64 seconds when they were short-handed. It was amazing, Mike and Kyle were going crazy! I so wish that we were there to witness it!

Oh! My co-worker Alice sent me a link to this clothing company (Locher's) with shirts she thought I would love...and I do! If only I had $69 to spend on shirts.. :| They are still really nice to look at though and I can love them from afar. You should totally go through the shirts and read what they say...it makes me love them and NEED one!

I am sorry if this ever gets ranty or boring to read because I am just trying to get into the groove of writing a blog and keeping up with it. Thanks for baring with me though!

I go from Metal music to Vagina's...huh.

Yay! It is finally Friday, and I never thought that it would come..even though I had a pretty laid back week. Monday I went to all three of my classes and work, Tuesday I went to class and work, Wednesday I did't have to go to my first class because the teacher has a conference, I skipped my second class because I thought an essay was due (it actually was due Friday; the teacher put the wrong date on the paper...fucker) and I went to my last class which was held outside. Thursday I came to work, skipped my class and went home to take a nap before Vagina Monologues (I will talk more about that later!) and that brings me to today! I did not go to my first class because of the conference, I went to 5 minutes of my second class (Just enough time to get my test back and see that I got an 85% on it! Yeah!) and then I went to do a video interview for Public Relations at PSU. So, there is no real reason to complain about my week...but I am happy that the weekend is here.

Image via Supplication

Tonight I am going to see the lovely Supplication at Rocko's in Manchester tonight! I love going to see them because one of my friends is the awesome drummer in the band, and we love him! Oh, they play grindcore (A subset of metal) Kyle, Mike, Spence and I are going to go there and have some fun and chill out with Mark and the rest of the band. The rest of the bands that are going to be there tonight are local, so we are really only going to support Supplication. :) Because we love them dearly!

More about vagina's! Kyle, Alice and I went to see the Vagina Monologues at PSU last night and it was AMAZING! I love seeing it every year, because the proceeds go to an amazing cause and all of the proceeds go to two causes (10% goes to the V-Day Foundation and 90% goes to Voices Against Violence - I never thought that so much went to these causes!!) It was a really awesome show, and I will see it every chance I get to! It is hilarious and sad at the same time, and the girls who perform it are such strong women! I love them!

So, when we got there Kyle, Spence and I sat down and two minutes later I see that Spence is not there anymore (I thought that he was pissing or something) Five minutes pass and he is still not there so I ask Kyle "Where is Spence?" to which kyle replies with "He is two rows behind us with Rose (Spence's ex/girlfriend - I do not know what is going on because I was omitted from being told ANYTHING)" That kind of upset me because he was suppose to be going with Kyle, Alice and I and then we get ditched...again! Spence ditched us Tuesday when we had tickets for Recycled Percussion too. It is not that I am pissed at him, I am just disappointed that he is doing this, and upset and hurt that I am not being told what is going on and that he feels that he cannot talk to me about it because he is one of my best friends and I would think that he would talk to me about shit, but I guess not. I dunno anymore...I was just really hurt that he was lying by omission because he knew that Rose was going to be there, but neglected to tell us because I would not have cared if he was going to meet her there and he told us; but the fact is that he didn't tell us and just ditched us when we got there.. :( *Sigh*

That is enough of me venting and bitching for the day! Toodle pip!

Vaginas and Gays! Yay!

There was a title change, and that is because while I was laying in my bed I thought about this title because I am starting a new book called The Average American Male  and it seems as though my blog is going to be about “The Average American Female” because I am American, average and a female!! Woot! I fit all three criteria! I also have my amazing friend Sonya helping me out with the banner and colors and all that fun stuff! I am so happy! This is going to be an awesome experience for me!

The weather is total shit outside and I wanted to go outside and read a book on the lawn on campus but it looks like that just is not going to happen for me today. I was so psyched for it too because yesterday was so amazing as far as sun and weather goes and now today turns to diarrhea falling from the sky. Also, I am staying on campus all day today because I am seeing the Vagina Monologues with Kyle, Spencer, and Alice tonight and reading was so in my agenda after school and work. I guess I will just have to deal with reading in the library.

Oh! After all this bitching about not being able to read, I did not even mention which book I am going read! (I bet you were thinking I am reading The Average American Male but nay!) I am reading Girls Who Like Boys Who Like Boys: True Tales of Friendship Between Straight Women and Gay Men, I think this is going to be a good book and thoroughly enjoyable. It is just stories about women who are besties with gay guys, and I love me some gay guys. :)

So, back to vaginas! I am going to see the Vagina Monologues tonight with my boyfriend, his cousin, and my boss/co-worker/supervisor/soul sister. It should be a good time all around! I went to see it last year and it was really good! I was contemplating being in it because there is a section about the word “Cunt” and it is my favorite word. But, ultimately I decided that I am too much of a chicken shit to do it, but maybe next year! My friend, Natalie, who was in the show last year and in it this year was trying her damnedest to get me to do it..I am sorry Natalie! :)

Hello world, I'm here, I'm ready!!

Okay, I am taking after my friend Sonya and starting a blog. It is pretty much just going to be me venting and talking about my day! So, I hope that it doesn't get too boring or lame to read!

So, today was a pretty legit day of summer/spring. I don't know what  one would call it because it was hot as balls out, but it still had a spring feeling to it. I am going to call it SPUMMER! But, my Spanish Novel class was held outside today. I was both grateful and pissed because it was nice and breezy outside BUT I was wearing all black (including black yoga pants) and for that alone it made me a bit pissy. Normally I have three classes on Mondays and Wednesdays, but my Taboo class was canceled because my teacher has a conference and I skipped my Mind, Brain and Evolution class because I thought I had an essay due (which I didn't, it is due Friday) that I did not do. So I really only had my Spanish Novel class today...oh, and work too!

I am going to leave you with a video from which I got the title of this post! :D You have to guess what this video is about though! Enjoy!
